Gatwick Guest House members range from special boutique-style guest houses, budget B&B airport accommodation, executive rooms, long-term lets, to independent family-run Gatwick hotels.

Members are graded and assessed via external bodies such as Visit Britain and the AA, from 1 to 4 stars, or inspected annually by the Gatwick Guest House Association to ensure accommodation meets a minimum standard.

The charming town of Horley - a few minutes' drive from Gatwick Airport - offers visitors an excellent mix of local amenities. Crawley Leisure Park has a 12-screen cinema, 10-pin bowling alley and a variety of restaurants. Manor Royal Crawley Business Park is home to some of the area's key businesses.

Nearby attractions to Horley and Crawley are: Denbies Wine Estate, where you can sample the best the region has to offer; Tulley's Farm, ideal for a family fun day out with 25 seasonal attractions; local parks and wonderful historic houses. There are racecourses at Lingfield, Epsom, Hickstead and Brighton. For golf lovers, there are a variety of courses in and around Surrey and Sussex.

The famous London Eye, Buckingham Palace, West End 'theatre land' and shopper's paradise Oxford Street can be accessed in around 30-60 minutes by train from Horley and Crawley.

Further afield, within an hour's drive, are such attractions as Hever Castle, Leeds Castle, Arundel Castle, Hampton Court, Legoland Sealife Aquarium and Chessington World of Adventures.
